What is portfolio turnover ratio?

1 Answer(s)

Turnover ratio is the amount of buying and selling in the portfolio, mutual fund or ETF in a given year. Generally, a low turnover ratio is good since there are costs with everything such as trading costs and other fees (unless the fund is buying better stocks).
